Watch Closely: Prototype
You're in a dark warehouse full of mannequins… and they only move when you're not looking.
👁️ What is this game?
This is a short first-person horror prototype where you explore a dimly lit warehouse looking for the key to exit.
The mannequins can only move when you're not looking at them. Look away — and they’ll get closer.
⚠️ Prototype Disclaimer
This game is just a prototype, so expect glitches — especially with lighting and audio. Right now, the focus is on the core mechanic and atmosphere. More features may come later depending on feedback and time. Game also runs MUCH better on the windows version, web version is very laggy and lights don't work.
🔧 Plans for Future Development
If this game continues to evolve, here's what I might add:
-
Better, more immersive audio
-
Polished mannequin AI
-
More items to interact with
-
Improved models and visuals
-
A proper story (possibly something like a night shift setting — you're a worker alone in a creepy warehouse)
-
Objectives and an actual ending
Better animations and game beginning
🎮 Controls
-
E — Pick up item
-
Q — Drop item
-
Tab — Switch between flashlight and equipped item
-
F — Turn flashlight on/off
Thanks for playing! Feel free to leave feedback or report bugs.

hello,
this is an interesting, but already very well known and often used concept. i personally find it creepier, for example, when i don't see the dolls walking. during my short test, however, i saw movements of dolls that were not completely in my field of vision. they also pushed other dolls. You would need something to make you stand out, maybe a doll that can only walk on top of the shelves or something that makes you stand out. But the basic principle is already quite solid, just keep going and have fun with it, then it can become something great.
Hey, thanks so much for the feedback — I really appreciate it! I was aiming to keep things simple since I made the game in just 24 hours, but I totally get what you’re saying. I agree that having something unique, like a doll that moves on shelves, could help the game stand out more. I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind if I continue working on it. Glad you tried it out! :)
